Engine Cylinder Block

This cylinder body of the engine piston is made of aluminum alloy 6061-T5 with a total silver-white metal gloss. The surface has been machined with high precision and the texture is delicate. Structurally, it consists of four parallel cylindrical channels, each with an elliptical opening at the top and  a flange surface with threaded holes at the bottom, which facilitate safe assembly with other engine components. In the center of the cylinder body, reinforcement flanks and heat-removal cracks are located to improve structural strength and thermal conductivity.  

Step 1: We use the Customized Aluminum Gravity Casting process to shape the blank. Inject the aluminum alloy 6061-T5 into a specialized sand mold and rely on gravity to four  cylinder air ducts, heat dissipation flanks and mounting seats to form at once. The precision of the vacuum is high, which greatly reduces the post-treatment.

Step 2: First, use a CNC lathe to finely mill and install the flange plane and interface end face, ensuring flatness and parallelism; Subsequently, high-precision drilling and carpeting were carried out on the corresponding bores and threaded bores of the cylinder body with the help of a CNC machining center. The inner cavity of the cylinder body has been precisely perforated to optimize the surface conduction of the inner wall, and the holes of the positioning button and the holes of the bolts were machined with synchronous precision to ensure the complete precision of the assembly of each component.

Step 3: After treatment, ultrasonic cleaning and manual cleaning are carried out to precisely remove and avoid the residues and sharpening edges, impurities affect the operation of the engine.
